Land cover analysis using LANDSAT TM 30 meter data to measure human settlement into the forests of Georgia's Appalachian Mountains.

The following icons are links to examples of LANDSAT satellite imagery. The images show progressively closer views of areas where forests have been cleared for human settlement. You will be able to distinguish roads, forests, fields and buildings among other features.
